Youth Ministry

E1Youth moving forward is a ministry that helps students in grades 6-12 to understand the United Methodist denomination better. We provide interactive prayer sessions, bible studies, small group discussions, and leadership opportunities to empower the youth to act upon God’s call. Our goal is to inspire and equip young individuals to become leaders and positively impact their communities.

– Grow in faith through play, fellowship, & storytelling

Our mission is to help youth build a strong foundation of faith that will guide them throughout their lives.

Sunday School

Our young people are divided into two Sunday School Classes, each led by our passionate interns and dedicated adult volunteers. We explore a four-week topical curriculum designed to make the Bible relevant to everyday life.   • Mid-high 4:00-5:00; Combined snack and game 5:00-6:00;
  • Sr High 6:00-7:00.

Meet Jamison! As a lifelong preacher’s kid and a licensed local pastor, he’s got the church thing down. He studied youth ministry at OCU and spent five years doing it full-time before getting his Master’s from Boston University. But don’t worry, he knows how to have fun! When he’s not planning awesome youth events, he loves running, hiking, camping, playing music, and going on adventures with his wife, Donegan, and their one-year-old daughter, Cliona.  Get ready for some fun—he’s ready to bring his passion and experience to our group!
