Music Ministry Update
Andrew Schaeffer, Director of Music Ministries
You may be astounded to hear that on any given Sunday, we’ll have anywhere between 5 and 15 first-time visitors. Add that up over 52 weeks and we’re clearly reaching lots of people in our community!
Without a doubt, the bulletin they receive from one of our ushers is one of their first impressions of our parish. With that in mind, the Worship Committee set out to refresh the traditional service bulletin. We’ve been using the current design for about six years, and since then we’ve significantly upgraded our website, Facebook page and, of course, The Messenger. The new bulletin will seamlessly work with those to give our church publications a clear and concise look.
While “change” is not a word that many churches like to hear, you can rest assured that the content of the service will not change. However, by moving from a bi-fold to a tri-fold, we will be able to not only include more announcements, but also include a prominent page of standing events and announcements that will help people understand more about our mission and ministry.
