Once again, we will challenge New Covenant United Methodist Church in a Skyline Food and Goods Drive.  The church with the most donated food, household items and toiletries will win bragging rights for the year!  The challenge began on Wednesday, February 14 and runs through March 25.

Did you know that last year, Skyline provided 1,414,763 pounds of groceries.  That equals 5,659,052 meals feeding 1,886,351 people for a day.  Edmond First was a part of Skyline’s Homeless Outreach, delivering 16,559 pounds of groceries to the homeless along with partners Mosiac UMC, Quail Springs UMC, Angie Smith Memorial UMC, Moore-New Life UMC, Penn Ave-Redepmtion UMC.

Skyline provides more than food items.  They also provide vision services, health screens, Christmas gifts, clothing and more to the people of Oklahoma.  You can learn more about their services by visiting their website at www.skylineurbanministry.org/.

Will you help us provide for the needs of so many Oklahoma families by bring a food, toiletry item or household item such as detergent or paper towels?  Let’s show our Edmond First United Methodist spirit and win this challenge for a third year in a row!
