Making a Joyful Noise to the Lord
At Edmond First, we carry on our vibrant Wesleyan heritage of excellence in music through a dynamic music ministry that includes congregational song, a variety of choirs for all ages and skill levels, a handbell choir, and an instrumental ensemble.
Chancel Choir
The Edmond First Chancel Choir leads music at the 8:30 and 11:00 AM Sunday services and special events throughout the year.
They also present larger works and cantatas. Rehearsals are Sundays at 5:00 PM or Wednesdays at 7:15 PM in the Choir Room (summer times may vary).
Singers of all voice parts are welcome — join us at any rehearsal!
Adult Handbell Choir
Edmond First’s Handbell Choir shares the unique sound of the handbells and hand chimes in traditional and innovative ways in worship and in concert, under the direction of Claudia Hampton.
Rehearsals are on Mondays at 6:30 PM in the Main Building, Room 104B.
Instrumental Ensemble
A semi-professional instrumental ensemble consisting of a flute, viola, cello and other instruments provide musical leadership within our worship services.

Children’s Choirs
Children’s Choirs at Edmond First UMC nurture musical and spiritual growth through singing, rhythm, movement, and games.
Meeting Wednesday evenings during the school year alongside The Gathering, the choirs regularly lead worship with anthems. Rehearsals are held in the Main Building Choir Room beneath the sanctuary.
