Care Ministries

We believe that Jesus gave us the perfect example of how to care for one another during mountain tops moments and dark valleys. Teach us, O Lord, your lessons, as in our daily life we struggle to be human and search for hope and faith. Teach us to care for people, for all, not just for some, to love them as we find them, or as they may become.

The congregational care team visits members in our church who are no longer able to attend church services or participate in activitIes. The care team makes personal visits sends cards, makes phone calls, and takes communion to those that desire it.

Support Groups

Edmond First also provides three different support groups:

Grief Support Group, First Thursday each month

Join our Grief Support Group on the first Thursday of every month for a safe space to share, connect, and find comfort.

Cancer Support Group,Second Thursday each month

Our Cancer Support Group meets on the second Thursday of each month, providing strength and encouragement for those dealing with cancer, whether as patients or loved ones. It’s a space to share insights, exchange coping strategies, and find solace in a supportive community.

Caregiver Support Group,Third Thursday each month

Join our Caregiver Support Group on the third Thursday of every month for validation, resources, and encouragement in your caregiving journey.

Hospital Ministry Team

The Hospital Ministry Team offers heartfelt support to church members during times of hospitalization. Through personal visits, phone calls, prayer, and meaningful conversation, the team ensures that no one feels alone in their time of need.
