ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday school classes are offered for adults each Sunday from 9:45 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Although most of our classes have a wide variety of age levels, they do have a median age that fits into young, middle, or senior adult categories. Below is a list of our current Sunday School Classes for adults. Agape

Main building, Room 314

The AGAPE Sunday School Class welcomes a diverse age of individuals (18 - 99) who are interested in missions and always enjoy open-minded Bible study discussions. We enjoy developing friendships, as well as sharing in fellowship with Christ at the center.

footsteps

Main building, room 111b

The Footsteps Sunday School Class is a discussion-based class with a wide age range (35-90) that covers various study topics. They have a lot of sharing time in class and use various books and teachers throughout the year. The class has group parties and participates in seasonal studies, such as Lenten and Advent.

The Sojourners Sunday School Class is a group that includes middle-aged adults who enjoy a variety of discussion topics, including Bible study, current events, and issues strengthening commitments as Christians. This class also participates in many social events and mission projects throughout the year.

The Bible Study Class is a gathering of dedicated individuals who are passionate about exploring narratives, teachings, history, and theology found within God's Word. In addition to these topics, they delve into intriguing discussions about angels, and the Disciples, and compare different Bible versions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scriptures. This tight-knit group not only fosters intellectual growth but also creates a supportive environment that nurtures avid learners and helps individuals develop into strong disciples.

genesis/journey

Main building, Room 313

The Genesis/Journey Sunday School Class is a friendly, warm, and caring group, open to all ages, marked by humor, joy, patience, and love. This group wants to grow in the Spirit and is willing to serve in all ways. Their study of many topics is respectful of your individual beliefs. You do not need to be afraid to examine your faith but must be willing to grapple with why you believe what you do. They utilize various book study series.

The Open Door Sunday School Class is a large class that is very welcoming. They use a variety of materials encouraging a joyful, dynamic, and Christian expression of current events in non-traditional formats. The class enjoys several social activities throughout the year.

The Good News Sunday School Class is a large class that enjoys a wide age range (39-90). Each class begins with a prayer and contains a lot of discussions, using various Methodist-oriented books as a base. The group attends the Senior Connection monthly gathering and often meets for games and dining outings.

This class is a multigenerational group of adults. The class focuses on spiritual growth as a person of faith with great discussions. They study contemporary and Bible issues. Class members are involved in many church activities, quarterly socials, and Fair Share Goals Mission projects. They try to intertwine both Biblical and contemporary issues to seek a better understanding of their faith.

The Cornerstone Sunday School Class is a group that includes parents who enjoy a variety of discussion topics, including Bible study, current events, and issues regarding parenting as Christians. This class also participates in many social events and mission projects throughout the year.

EMMANUEL

The Emmanuel Sunday School Class is an older age group that studies various books of the Bible in detail with lively member discussions.
