2004 Charge Conference Report
1. Volunteers in
Mission Trip to Venezuela
The total number of work
hours given was approximately 10 hours/day for eight
(8) days. During that time, the volunteers worked
on a construction project, held a Vacation Bible
School, and as a medical team.
The construction
project was to pour and spread cement on a 25 ft by
40 ft floor for a community building. At the
Vacation Bible School there were 250 children. In
addition to the work done by the medical team,
glasses collected and sent with the team were passed
out and fitted to those who needed them.
Shares were sold
to members of the church to assist in sponsoring
this work. There were 92 of our church members who
purchased shares for a total of $2,132.00. In
September, the Missions Committee prepared and
served an authentic Venezuelan meal.
The church
participated in the Circle of Care. We had six (6)
church members go to the Boys Ranch in Gore. They
assisted with the Boys Ranch Rodeo by serving BBQ,
potato salad, baked beans and drinks. At the silent
auction some of our members purchased some items.
2. The Committee
supported the Rowley's MIssionary work with
$1,000.00 for the year of 2004.
3. The Committee gave
$1,000.00 to the Hope Center.
4. Mobile Meals
of Edmond was given $1,000.00 from the Church in
support of the activity. We have seven (7) Church
members who volunteer as cooks and drivers for
Mobile Meals.
5. Out of the
General Church Budget, the Church gave $1,000.00 in
support of the VIM.
6. The Missions
Committee has held three (3) fund raising events
during this year. They were: a pancake/sausage
breakfast in March, a biscuit/gravy breakfast in
October and the sale of stock holder shares in May
and June. In December, the Committee will hand out
pie pans and ask the members of the Church to bring
a pie for sale. This year, additional items such as
cookies, cakes, and candy will be added to the
sale. These funds were used to help support our
church members' Missionary efforts.

2003 Charge Conference Report
1. Volunteers in
Missions - Trip to Honduras
The total number of work hours given was
approximately 10 hours/day/five (5) days. The total
number of hours worked started with a survey of the
site on Sunday, approximately 2 hours. The team
worked for approximately 10 hours per day for five
(5) days. The project was to pour a slab for an
extension of the present church to provide for a
Sunday school area and other meeting rooms. It was
necessary for the stem walls to be poured and
reinforcing rods assembled for the floor. During
the week, the stem wall was poured and all the
reinforcing rods were tied and laid for a 30 ft. b
50 ft. slab.
At a separate location, a medical clinic was held
during the week. Several hundred patients were
treated. As part of the clinic, those persons who
needed glasses were fitted and given glasses.
Many activities were held for the children.
A total of $200.00 per person, for seven (7) of our
church members, was used to supplement travel
expenses.
2. The Committee supported the Rowley's Missionary
work with $1,000.00 the year 2003.
3. The Committee gave $1,000.00 for support to the
Hope Center.
4. Mobile Meals of Edmond was given $1,000.00 for
the church's support of this activity. We have
seven (7) church members who volunteer as cooks and
drivers for Mobile Meals.

Mission).

2002 Charge Conference Report
1. Volunteer's in
Missions - Trip to Puerto Rico
The total number of
work hours given was approximately 10 hours per day
five days. The total number of hours worked started
with a survey of the site on Sunday, approximately 2
hours. The team worked for approximately 10 hours
per day for five (5) days on remodeling an old
building to be used for a health clinic and worship
site. A total of $200.00 per person for six (6)
church members as travel expense.
2. The Mission
Committee supported the Rowley's work in South
Mexico with $1,000.00 for the year 2002.
3. The Missions
Committee gave $1,000.00 to support the Hope Center.
4. Mobile Meals
of Edmond was given $1,000.00 for the Church's
Support of this activity.
5. Out of the
General Church Budget, the Church gave $1,000.00 in
support of the Volunteers in Mission program.
6. The Hammer Project
assisted two (2) of the members with home projects
when assistance was needed. One (1) person worked
for approximately 16 hours.
7. One (1) person
worked approximately 4 hours on Habitat for
Humanity.
8. This Committee
held two (2) fund raising events during the year.
They were: A pancake/sausage breakfast in March -
proceeds were $358.00. A biscuit and gravy
breakfast on October 13th for donations - proceeds
were $540.00.
